Open Air Museum: Buildings
From the farm through to the Pinewoods the museum contains a variety of community and workplace buildings.
- The Railway Halt: where people, farm goods and produce travelled north and south.

- Glenlivet Post Office: from 1913, when post offices were the heart of the community!

- Shepherd's bothy and fank: a welcome resting place for the hard working shepherd.

- Knockbain School: where the teacher rules and you can do lessons 1930's style.

- Leanach Church: early 1900s corrugated tin church relocated to the Museum from Culloden.

- Macpherson's Tailor's Shop: 'High Class Tailor and Outfitter'.

- Clockmaker's Workshop: where more than the clock's were homemade.

- Fraser's Joiner's Workshop: supplying cart repairs to coffins!

- Bow Tent: Traditional Travellers' tent built by Essie Stewart in 2008 - where tales were telt!

- Newtonmore Curling hut: a replica curling hut from circa 1920 displaying curling memorabilia from past times.

- Ardverikie Estate Sawmill: the water powered original from TV's 'Monarch of the Glen's' home.
